Ashley & Kristo's Wedding

I went to Salt Lake City over the weekend to go to my cousin, Ashley's wedding in the Salt Lake Temple. Sam couldn't come so I stayed at his grandma's house with my sister, Janessa. We had a great time together! It is always so much fun to be with the McCombs family-congratulations Ashley & Kristo! You both seem to be perfect for one another!

Park date with Brody

We love our dog, Brody. He is so hilarious and we always have a lot of fun when we take him to the park. Here are some pictures of our afternoon in the park. P.S. I love my canon camera...amazing.

Film Festival 2007

Tonight we went to a film festival in the city. We had a great time. Some of our favorites are here:




The above won for the best short film, and the below the best comedy. We shared a table with three of the guys who did this film. Very cool guys, and obviously creative. They took home a $3,000 check for this baby.

Happy Easter!

I love Easter. I love having a whole holiday dedicated to to atonement of our Savior and His resurrection. I just love it. We had a great Easter holiday! We dyed easter eggs on Saturday night with Jentri and Shane which was a lot of fun!
On Sunday we had Jeff, Harriet, Levi, Scott, Jentri, Shane, Keith and Ann over for dinner. We missed having Heather! We had a delicious dinner and dessert and we all ate too much but had a great time.
I hope everyone was able to reflect on our Savior's gift to us today. Here are pictures from our fun day!

The Loving Tree

So I was driving home for lunch today and I saw this awesome tree that someone had decorated with hearts of all shapes and sizes. I thought it was cute so I took some pictures!

Spring is here!

So it seems like it is finally spring! Yesterday was 74 degrees outside and it was gorgeous! I'm so excited for nice weather!

San Diego

So...we went to San Diego last month for a weekend getaway trip and I'm just now posting the pictures. Not like anyone reads our blog except for our parents but whatever! We had a really great time visiting the San Diego zoo, Wild Animal Park, the temple, the beach, the museum of modern aty and lots of other fun places! We rented a car that was a little bigger (but not by much) than a Mini cooper. So what did Sam end up doing while on our trip? Buy a surfboard that just barely fit into our car. We were so smashed in that car and I have no idea how the board fit but we had a fantastic time! Here are some pictures!

Art, Brody, friends and the lovely weather weekend

We had a really great weekend! We bought a piece of art online and it's awesome! I really love it and it looks great on our wall. Shane came over and helped Sam frame it while Jentri and I watched. It was fun! Here they are hard at work...And here they are admiring the new art... We also had time to go sailing in the Bay this weekend. It was gorgeous and we had a lot of fun! I did get smacked in the head with the bar while sailing but I still managed to have a good time. Here are some adorable pictures of Brody. He is so funny!

The weather was spectacular this weekend and we are grateful that the weather has finally warmed up! I'm excited for spring!

Presidents Day in Monterey!

We had a great President's Day weekend with our good friends, Jentri & Shane. It was Jentri's birthday so we all went down to Monterey and had a great weekend getaway! We went scuba diving, to the Monterey Aquarium, Camping and to Pacific Grove. It was a great time and we are grateful that we have friends who like us enough to want to spend an entire weekend with us! I had a great time with my camera and took some pictures that I really love....

Above you can see as Jentri hands over money to some people on the street who talked her into buying interesting bumper stickers that I know she will NEVER put on her car!

God is an artist

It's true! This past week I have been amazed at the beauty of the earth. We live in such a gorgeous part of California. I woke up the other morning and looked out our deck and saw the gorgeous fog rolling over the hills. It was breathtaking.

Down the street from our house we have a wonderful view of San Francisco and Berkeley.

I love how the Lord has blessed us with such a beautiful world to live in!

New Year!

Here's to the New Year! We celebrated our three year anniversary on December 30th. We can't believe how fast time has flown and how many amazing blessings we have been given since we were married!
We can't wait for this New Year! Sam just started his third semester of Business School and Marielle was just called as the Young Womens President of their ward. We are looking forward to a trip to Jamaica (and Girl's Camp!) this year!
