Hadley's Bumbo
Our friends Jentri & Shane gave us a Bumbo seat for one of our baby showers. We finally put Hadley in it to see how she liked it. She was a little timid at first but then loved sitting in it. Here are some cute pictures of Hadley in her Bumbo.

Valentines Day Weekend Revised
Here is a list of the plans we had made for Valentines Day/Presidents Day weekend:
*Fly to Las Vegas
*See the Cirque de Soliel show "Love" featuring all the Beatles songs
*Hang out with Sam's parents in St. George
*Go to the Home Show
Here is what ended up happening...
*We spent 3 hours on the airplane without even taking off because of high winds in Vegas
*We asked for a refund for our tickets and decided to cancel our trip
*After we get home from the airport (at midnight!!), the airline calls us to tell us that the flight was canceled completely and they had just finished getting all passengers off the plane
After we canceled our trip to Vegas, we decided that we needed to pack in as many fun things as we could to make up for our "almost" Vegas trip. So here is what we did this weekend.....
*Took a trip (finally!) to the De Young Museum. I have wanted to go for forever now, and I'm so glad we went. The architecture of the building is AMAZING and the artwork in the museum was awesome. We saw the Gilbert & George exhibit and we were able to meet the artists, which was cool.
*Went to Fort Funston and Ocean Beach. It was FREEZING! Hadley was so cold but she was a good sport. We basically walked from our car to the water and back because it was so cold. At Fort Funston we watched hang gliders which was really cool. Jentri and Shane are thinking about maybe learning how to hang glide!
*Went to Pigeon Point and looked around at the tide pools. The weather was way warmer and sunny and everyone had a good time. There was a huge elephant seal on the beach sleeping and we were all pretty scared that he would wake up.
*Drove through Hillsborough and saw some homes for sale for $10,000,000. Amazing.
I think we made up for the Las Vegas trip that didn't happen, don't you?

Hadley's Blessing Day
Today was Hadley's blessing day. It was a perfect day and we were so grateful for those friends and family members who were able to join us on this special occasion. I made Hadley's dress and she looked so cute. Sam did a fabulous job on her blessing and Hadley didn't even cry (thank heavens!) We are so grateful to have her in our lives, she has enriched us so much and I can't wait to see what kind of wonderful little girl she will become! Here are some pictures of this weekend!
