A Giants Game

I love going to Giants' games. What a beautiful park! This was our view from $10 tickets. I can't complain. The Giants won this game against the Diamonbacks, and we enjoyed being there and eating hot nachos and hot dogs. Our camera died right after this picture was taken.

Sometimes we do things for the people we love. Some people demonstrate their love for others by opening a door, lending a hand, offering a word of encouragement, or watching Aliens just because their spouse likes the movie. This weekend Marielle had the opportunity to show Sam just how much she loved him by doing something she never thought she would do because it was her biggest fear.....SCUBA DIVING. Not only is Marielle completley petrified of deep water, but she also is deathly afraid of sharks of all kinds. Needless to say, this was an act of bravery on her part.
Anyway, we went on our first open water dive in Monterey this weekend. We have never been so sore in our lives! We are both proud of ourselves and of eachother and we hope the next time we go scuba diving the water is warmer than 53 degrees. Sit down and enjoy the photographs from our weekend journey.....

The visibility was horrible but once we got down to 43 feet we could see pretty well.

Don't Pee in Your Wetsuit!

Marielle peed 5 times in her wetsuit tonight. That was a record in the class I think. Here is a picture of us having the usual fun in our Scuba class with our Nazi instructor Simon. Simon turned my air off underwater and took off Marielle's goggles. We did the same in retaliation.

Evil Dog Steals My Spot!

The other night I got out of bed to go to the bathroom and when I came back to get in my spot, this is what I saw.....


Brody had taken my spot! So I tried to move him out of the way and I stopped becuase I was laughing at the way he was looking at me...

Needless to say, Brody was very pissed that I had awoken his gentle slumber.

Family Time!

We haven't seen everyone on the Hayes side in a long time, so we had everyone come over for some delicious grubb. Scott couldn't make it so we missed him. It was fun to watch Brody and Levi play together and chase eachother around. Levi is getting very big and is getting better at walking every time we see him. We are also amazed at how much hair he has! He sure is a little cutie. We are lucky to have such a cute nephew. Here he is showing everyone his newest move- "the monkey"

Baby Shower Extravaganza!!!!

Over the weekend we hosted a baby shower for our good friends Leslie & Jared Petersen. It was a co-ed baby shower and we had a great time playing games, eating great food and celebrating their soon-to-be baby!
