Hadley's First Bath

Here is little Miss Hadley taking her first bath...I know, I know....she's a month old and just getting her first bath? I've been giving her sponge baths up until now so it's not that gross that she hasn't had a full bath until now. She did really well until the very end. After her bath, she fell right asleep. So cute!

Let's be real, people. Hadley is adorable. I've seen some weird looking babies and I'm pretty sure that Hadley doesn't fit into the weird/ugly baby category. I'm not saying that because she is the fruit of my loins, I'm saying it because it's totally true! On that note, here are some new photographs.....

Push Gift

Has anyone heard of a push gift? I had never heard of it until Sam's mom mentioned it to Sam. Apparently when a woman gives birth, the husband (or Baby-Daddy, which is what my young women call them) is supposed to buy the wife something (jewelry) for all their hard work and pushing during labor. Sounds good to me! I'll do almost anything for a nice piece of jewelry.

So Sam had this beautiful ring custom made for me as my push gift by our jeweler friend, Angelika. She does amazing work that is really unique and each piece comes with a special meaning. Angelika came by last night and dropped off my beautiful ring and I am so excited to have it! Thanks to my loving husband for listening to his mother!
