So I have recommended the Ooma system to a few friends, and everyone so far has loved it. Most people I know pay $50/month for home phone. Ooma eliminates phone bills forever. Don't ask me how. It is just free. Unlimited calling for $0. There was no catch, until they recently released the new Ooma Telo system. The new system has an annual tax, and they said they would charge for the voicemail, with no real improvements to the service. Not so with the old system! It is free for life, and the call quality is excellent. These systems won't be available for long. Right now Amazon is having a sale until the 31st of October. $203 for the Ooma and a free ipod 4gb shuffle ($80 value). This is the cheapest I have ever seen Ooma.

Hadley has been obsessed with our little point & shoot camera. The other morning she was taking photos of herself & I couldn't help but to snap some photos of her trying to figure the camera out. Maybe being camera happy is just in her genes!

I've been so busy with my photography that I have been neglecting this blog! I'm lame but at least I'm updating it now!

We had a fun 4th of July in Reno with all of my family. Hadley just loves swimming in my parent's pool. She is talking a ton now and is getting cuter and cuter every day!

Today we took Hadley to the pool because it was 90 degrees outside! It was the most beautiful day of the year so far and Hadley loved being in the pool. Since we hardly go swimming, I haven't bought Hadley any "swim-appropriate" diapers. It made for some really funny pictures, although some of the other parents in the kiddie pool didn't think it was cool! Here are the pictures......

We just got back from an awesome trip to Rome & Florence, Italy. We had a wonderful time and were able to see so much in the week that we were there! We spent 5 days in Rome and 3 in Florence. We ate the best food & gelato, saw the most amazing sites (including the Pope) and just had a good time taking in all the beauty and culture that is there.
The weather was beautiful during our stay- 75 degrees the whole time! We were lucky to go to so many amazing museums and to see so many important pieces of history. Anyway, we had a great time so here are a few of my favorite pictures!

By far my favorite picture from the trip...the Coloseum at night is incredible

I told you I would re-create this picture outside the Pantheon...and I did.

But Sam's turned out way better than mine

We took a day trip out to Ostia Antica- it's about 30 minutes outside of Rome and has amazing ruins. This was my favorite part of our trip because there was so much to see!

So it was our last day in Rome and we had no Euros left. We wanted to see the Forums (which were free of charge last time we visited) and they now charge 9 euros to get in. So lame, right? And they didn't take credit cards. There was really no other option than to squeeze through the bars to get in. I'm not kidding. Sam and I both squeezed through these bars and snuck in!

Today I set Hadley down with a plate of black beans and left the room. When I came in just two minutes later, this is what I found. She had licked the plate clean and was very happy!

Let's be honest- this blog isn't about us! It's all about Hadley. Hadley has 12 teeth and 4 more that have all decided to come in at the same time this past week. Here is a picture of her today while on a photo shoot/car ride. I love her teethy grin!

In other Hadley-type news, I had FOUR people ask me on Tuesday when we were planning on having baby #2. Uh....that's something that I haven't even thought about yet so I'm not sure why other people are wondering! Sheesh! I feel like I just had a baby!

I did a little photoshoot with Hadley and it ended up being pretty funny. I had the music blasting and we had a fun time. She loved being in front of the camera! At the end, she decided to "shake her booty" for the camera- this little girl has got some moves!

We've been really busy and Hadley is growing and keeping us happy! She is almost old enough to go to nursery at church (yay!) and she is becoming quite the bossy little girl! The other night she walked into the room and looked at me and said, "China!" I have no clue how she knows that word. She loves watching Barney and Elmo and tormenting our dog Brody.

We've been redecorating our place so I will have to post pictures when that's all done. It's been exhausting but we really like the way things are looking. Anyway, hope everyone is doing great! Here are some cute pictures of little miss Hadley.

Well, we've been busy for the past while but I thought I would post some stuff that has been happening...

We had a great Christmas and were able to spend some time with family...

We were also able to spend some time with my family in Reno- Hadley had so much fun with my parents. She just can't get enough of my dad! I really like her little pig face in this picture.

Hadley has been getting cuter and cuter...she can say over 20 words, has 12 teeth and she starting walking a few weeks ago!

We spent just a couple of days in Milan and we had a good time. We stayed at an interesting (read: shady) hotel room one night and then switched to a much better and nicer hotel for the second night. We spent one night at a Christmas market where Phil's wallet was stolen! We were so shocked and felt so bad!

Here are some of our highlights from our short stay in Milan:

*The Duomo. How did they build those cathedrals without power tools?
*We got to see a privatley owned Carivaggio piece that was amazing.
*Toured the beautiful Scala opera house.
*We were able to see The Last Supper. So amazing to see that in person!
*Window shopping at the Galleria.

I LOVE London. I've been before but I loved it so much more this time around. I love the way people dress, I love the way the city feels, I love everything. Despite our jetlag, we were able to enjoy ourselves and have a great time.
Here are some our favorite things....

*Eating amazing fish & chips. Simply delicious.
*The Tate Modern Museum
*Best Lentil Soup ever.
*Walking around to find Banksy wall graffiti
*Loving how easy it was to ride the tube.

One thing that was not my favorite (I know this will make my friends mad but whatev...) was Wicked. We saw it and thought it was LAME! Would have much rather seen Les Mis, or anything else. I think I would have liked it a lot more if I was 15 years old. Sorry to all you die-hard Wicked fans out there, but I had to get it off my chest!

Anyway, on to the pictures!
